Ride, the legendary shoegazers from Oxford, England. Four and a half years after their last album, which was a top 10 hit in the UK, they have released their seventh album, “Interplay. Legendary shoegazers Ride of Oxford, England, will release their new album “Interplay” on Wichita/PIAS. The album is the band’s seventh and third since their 2015 reunion. Recorded by producer Richie Kennedy primarily at the band’s own studio, OX4, the album combines the frenetic guitar attacks, hypnotic grooves, and dreamy melodies of their earlier work with brilliant synths, psychedelic folk, electronic beats, and noir-pop soundscapes, replacing them with a more expansive sonic template that allows the group to connect all the dots.
