Jancevskis studied piano at the Jzeps Medins Riga 1st Music School and earned a diploma in choral conducting from the Riga Cathedral Choir School. He studied composition with Serga Mense at the Jzeps Vtols Latvian Academy of Music and is currently pursuing his masters degree in Jnis Petrakev
