In his solo work, Robert Palmer, a blue-eyed soul singer, has gained popularity with his soulful vocal style that freely moves between jazz, R&B, reggae, pop, and funk.This album was recorded on December 15, 1988 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York, on the last day of his promotional tour for the album “Heavy Nova”.
