Robin Trichler, a new-generation tenor from Ireland who garnered attention in 2014 for his successful recital as a replacement for Ian Bostridge and made his debut in Japan in 2016 performing with Tatsuya Shimono (conductor) and the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, sings a collection of lieder by Robert Franz (18151892), a major 19th-century German lieder composer.
