Here is the first all-Bach album by Rudolf Buchbinder, a master pianist who carries on Viennas piano-playing tradition into the present day. While Buchbinder boasts a wide-ranging repertoire, its core undoubtedly consists of German and Austrian music, represented above all by Beethoven and Brahms. In particular, he re-recorded Beethovens 32 piano sonatas and 5 concertos shortly after signing with Sony Classical, reaffirming his status as one of the finest interpreters of Beethoven today. However, strangely enough, no full-length album of Bachone of the Three Bshad existed until now (only a live recording of the English Suite No. 3 from the Salzburg Festival has been released).
