A collection of piano works by Myaskovsky and Bakri, performed by Sabine Weier, a promising pianist from Luxembourg who studied under the renowned Belgian master Daniel Blumenthal and made her debut at Royal Albert Hall. Featuring Scriabin-esque works composed in 1912 and 1920, post-Romantic style of Nikolai Myaskovsky (18811950), written in 1912 and 1920, and a sonata by the French contemporary composer Nicolas Bakri (1961), composed between 2007 and 2011.
