Seattle-based heavy metal band Sanctuarys second album, *Into the Mirror Black*, recorded in 1989 at the legendary Sound City Studios! Although based in Seattle on the eve of the grunge movement, they refused to pander to trends, instead fusing the aggression of Bay Area thrash with the dramatic melodies of classic heavy metal. Warrel Danes intense vocals shine brilliantly on tracks like Future Tense and Epitaph.
