You didn’t see it coming! Along with Pavement and Tortoise, the legendary and active Shellac has been supporting US alternative rock from the underground. They have been touring around the world, releasing their music at a very slow pace, and maintaining their unrestrained activities while spreading their explosive distortion. Recorded at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio Studio in November 2017, October 2019, September 2021, and March 2022, the album was recorded in four separate weekends. This is an opportunity to hear a sharp and pointed band ensemble. The artwork, by Bob Weston, gives the impression that this is a massive, knock-out record.
