The 31st installment of the Contemporary Japanese Composers Series, proudly presented by Fontec: Contemporary Music.Shoko Shida was born in Shizuoka Prefecture. After graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts, she served as a lecturer at the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music and Ferris Womens Junior College, as well as a professor at the Taiwan National University of the Arts, before settling in Cologne, Germany, in 1980.
