The Sitkovetsky Trio was formed in 2007 by Alexander Sitkovetsky, cellist Leonard Elschenbroich, and pianist Wu Chen. Starting with the 20182019 season, cellist Isan Enders joined the trio, replacing Leonardo Erschenbroich. This album marks their first recording with the new lineup, as they began recording Beethovens complete piano trios to commemorate the 250th anniversary of his birth in 2020. This first release in the series features Piano Trios No. 3 and No. 6, along with the Allegretto.
