“SMALLSPEAKER,” the solo project of Hiroshi Otsuki (formerly of ex-REGISTRATORS and BRIGHTLINER), will release a 2026 album via the Hamburg, Germany-based label SOUNDSOFSUBTERRANIA. This marks their first overseas release, having previously released only self-produced albums. The album features 10 tracks.There are no words to describe a SMALLSPEAKER album. But lets start from the beginning. SMALLSPEAKER consists of three members: Otsuki, Homma, and Matsuoka. They are current or former members of legendary Japanese punk bands such as The Registrators, Brightliner, Car Crash, and Keen Monkey Work. They have already released six albums and several singles.
