Using vintage equipment and classic instruments, the album fuses blue-eyed soul, California groove, and psychedelic pop. In addition to drumming by Ben Spruce and a guest appearance by Skinshape, the album features sparkling guitars, warm bass, rich keyboards and strings, and Reuben Vaun Smiths striking vocals.
