A collaboration between Oscar Petersons drumless trioa favorite of Norman Granzand Stan Getz. During this period, Granz conceived, staged, and produced numerous collaborations featuring big-name artists. However, this particular pairing was a one-time-only event, making this recording a rare document of their collaboration. The cover photo was taken in Paris in 1958, one year after the recording.
