Young Marble Giants mainstay Stewart Moxham and pop craftsman Louis Philippe have released a collaboration that they recorded several years ago! The beautiful sound is inspired by 1960s pop maestros such as Brian Wilson, Burt Bacharach, and Bones Howe, and its rustic, acoustic quality is reminiscent of YMG’s “Colossal Youth”. The simple, acoustic feel is reminiscent of YMG’s “Colossal Youth,” especially on the opening track, “Tidy Away. The two geniuses have created an album that is soft and mellow to the fullest, and it is a great album to listen to at home.
