Norway in the early 20th century harbored such hidden talent!Arvid Kreven (18991929) was a Norwegian composer blessed with extraordinary talent who died young before it could fully blossom. While serving as a flutist with the Oslo Philharmonic, he experimented with composition, but his works were too innovative to be understood in Norway at the time, causing him to be sidelined from the mainstream of the countrys musical history. All of his works are in the French Impressionist style, featuring delicate, expansive hues.
