Produced by Tony Visconti, “The Slider” is still the definitive record of Bolan mania and contains two number one singles, “Telegram Sam” and “Metal Guru,” perhaps the epitome of glam rock glamour.This special 2-CD set includes the original album tracks on CD1, as well as three non-album B-side tracks. CD2 contains “The Alternate Slider: Rabbit Fighter”. The CD is packaged in a deluxe 7″ deluxe spread with an 8-page booklet including lyrics and notes by Mark Paitress, recognized authority on Bolan and author of the definitive Bolan biography. and 2022’s “Glam!: When Superstars Rocked the World, 1970-74,” with annotations by Mark Paitress, recognized authority on Bolan and author of the definitive Bolan biography.
