A new label centered on improvisation, BULBOUSPLANTS, has launched. As its debut release, the label is releasing the first album by Takashi Sugawa, Daisuke Fujiwara, Shun Ishikawa, and Nana Omori.This album was created by four musicians active in the contemporary Japanese jazz and improvisational music scene, with a starting point of paying tribute to John Coltrane, whose 100th birthday will be celebrated in 2026.
