Tamikrest

Description:

Tamikrest is a highly anticipated band formed in Mali. They specialize in a sound that feels like an aggressive evolution of the desert blues epitomized by Tinariwen, and their performanceswhich seamlessly shift between psychedelic rock, roots reggae, and funkare truly innovative. The lyrics, imbued with the anger and sorrow of the Tuareg people, combined with the dry guitar tones, create an overwhelming sense of tension. Fans of African music will surely regret it if they dont listen to this debut album in Japan!bounce (C) Hiroyoshi Nishio
