The Tetzlaff Quartet, a string quartet acclaimed worldwide. Formed in 1994 around violinist Christian Tetzlaff and his sister Tanya, the quartetwhich also includes former Bamberg Symphony Orchestra concertmistress Elisabeth Kufferath and Zurich Opera House Orchestra principal Hanna Weinmeister. They are regulars at European music festivals, and their performances have been described as dramatic and energetic. They also toured Japan in 2014 and have been steadily gaining popularity there.
