• Riley Jones, Louis Forster and James Harrison have been best friends for ages and share a passion for music. Consequently, they manifested the bond of friendship in a joint band already in high school – The Goon Sax were born.
  “Mirror II” is already the third album of the Australian indie band, at the same time their debut on their new label Matador Records and also a departure into new sound worlds. The 2016 debut album “Up To Anything” was a mixture of self-discovery and musical field tests to the successor “We’re Not Talking” (2018) had found its very own sound. For “Mirror II”, the three Australians took three years. Louis moved to Berlin in the meantime, where he worked in a cinema, while Riley and James formed a post-punk band called Soot.
