London Oratory Schola Cantorum! The London Oratory Schola Cantorum, the choir of the London Oratory School founded in 1996, makes its first appearance on Hyperion. This release is part of the “Sacred treasures” series, showcasing the great legacy of Renaissance polyphony. The London Oratory Schola Cantorum is a group of Catholic boys ages 7 to 18 who enjoy advanced choral education opportunities within the public education system, singing Mass every Saturday at liturgies and major feasts, and participating in performance tours and numerous recordings in the United States and Europe.
