The Residents, San Franciscos iconic and unconventional art collective, have released their latest studio album, the culmination of nearly two years of work. It tells a three-act story featuring Maggot and Mark, two young heavy metal fans, and the enigmatic Dr. Anastasia Dark. Recorded in collaboration with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and producer/conductor Edwin Outwater, the album fluidly traverses genres ranging from electronica to thrash metal.
