Samurai of Prog is a project in which core members based in Finland collaborate with musicians from around the world to revive the symphonic sound of the golden age of the 70s for a modern audience. Following a series of related projects, this latest releasethe first from the main group in quite some timeis a concept album themed around the adventures of the sailor Sinbad. While regular members handled most of the composition, this album features a stellar lineup of guestsincluding Beppe Crovella of Arti e Mestieri, who contributed one track and participated in the recording, and Roine Stortt, who also performed on the albumresulting in a magnificent, rich, and opulent masterpiece of symphonic rock.
