Description:

Mozarts collection of violin sonatas, which could also be described as piano works with violin introductions. The piano partwhich plays a prominent roleis performed by Jrg Dms, one of the Vienna Trio. Drawing on his expertise as a consummate instrument collector, he makes full use of two renowned 18th-century instruments on this album, allowing listeners to fully enjoy the sounds of that era. He is joined by Irunberger, born in 1985. Undeterred by their age difference, they perform the music with a free-spirited and bright energy. The program is perfectly curated, featuring two solo fantasias by Dms interspersed between the pieces.Naxos Japan
