Thoms Lroux, Principal Tuba of the Marseille Opera Orchestra!He was appointed principal tuba of the Marseille Opera Orchestra at the young age of 19, and in 2012, at the age of 24, he became the first tuba player to be selected for the Instrumental Soloist of the Year award at the French music awards Victoires de la Musique Classique, becoming the first tuba player ever to win the Instrumental Soloist of the Year awardand has been taking the French brass music scene by storm. Now, Thomas Leroux has embarked on a recording project as part of a trio featuring piano and vibraphone!Pianist Barbier and vibraphonist Strobel, who join Leleux in performing a diverse program ranging from Leleuxs own compositions to works by Jobim, Arne, Brahms, Weill, Legrand, and Cosma, are also highly accomplished musicians. Strobel is a semi-finalist in the 2014 Munich International Music Competition and the win
