This album features two works each from the 1970s and 1990s, as well as one recent piece written in 2006.In Hecton, the violin plays extremely capricious passages over chords fiercely pounded out by the piano; in the , the music in Phantom and Mischief and Antslitzcomposed two decades lateris so filled with lyricism that the transformation is so striking its hard to believe it comes from the same composer.
