Born in Sibira, Romania in 1989 to parents who are both violinists, Tibor Gienge entered the Conservatory of Graz at the age of 15 and studied at the Nuremberg Music University under Ulf Herscher. He also absorbed the violin tradition of the Hungarian School of Music. He soon became 1st violin of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and concertmaster of the Staatsoper Nuremberg. Since 2016, he has been concertmaster of the prestigious Staatskapelle Dresden. He is a gem of the orthodox violin.MDG
