Toby Ward and Ensemble Pro Victoria, acclaimed for their Tudor music, bring fresh, contemporary color to the Advent and Christmas seasons.Ensemble Pro Victoria is an ancient music ensemble founded by Humphrey Thompson and Toby Ward at Cambridge University in 2015 that also won a Gramophone Award. Primarily a flexible ensemble of OVPP singers and instrumentalists, the ensemble focuses on Iberian polyphony, pre-Reformation Tudor music, and early Baroque music. Co-founder and artistic director Toby Ward studied at King’s College Cambridge and the Royal College of Music, and has been an organist at the Church of the National Musicians and St. Sepulker’s Church, an associate of the Royal College of Organists, and a Tenebrae Choir He has also served as tenor associate artist.Tokyo M-Plus
