Tortoise, an instrumental band that has been active as a representative of post-rock since the 1990s and has many fans regardless of genre, has arrived with their latest work after 9 years! This masterpiece, which shows where the ever-evolving Tortoise is at in 2025, is released as a domestic CD set with bonus tracks and a limited-edition T-shirt available at stores.The making of the new album began when Tortoise, some of whose members had left Chicago, gathered in Portland for a session. John McEntire says, “When we finished it, we realized there was a thread running through it,” and that “there was definitely something different about it from past work. Those words say it all.
