This album features live recordings from 2014the year she turned 80including Piano Sonata K. 545, performed at the Kusatsu Music Festival, and Piano Quartet No. 1, performed at Kioi Hall with the Vienna String Quartet. She studied under Sadakichi Inoue from an early age. She was recognized by Alfred Cortot during his visit to Japan in 1952 and, at his invitation, moved to France, wh
