Trio Fibonacci

Description:

Reimagining the world of Ludovico Einaudi! The Canadian-based trio FIBONACCI has reimagined the world of Ludovico Einaudi, the master of contemporary minimalism, with the sounds of chamber music in this ambitious work. The members of the trio have arranged 13 of Einaudi’s most famous pieces, including I Giorni, Nuvole Bianche, Una Mattina, Experience, and Petricor, for trio or duo performance. The repetitive motifs and subtle harmonic changes characteristic of Einaudi are portrayed by the ensemble with delicacy and transparency. As the album title suggests, the music drifts between meditation and awakening, silence and resonance. The flexibility of the trio Fibonacci’s expression allows them to portray the full depth of emotion, from the tension in the silence to the crescendos of film music. This is a piece that launches the universal appeal of Einaudi’s works beyond the boundaries of genres
