Vincent Cocq’s beautifully rolling, pearly notes, which sometimes swirl with the strings and sometimes rise in a hot swell, are almost divine in their beauty.Schumann’s Piano Trio is widely recognized as one of the most representative piano trios of the Romantic era. The first (1847) was composed for his wife Clara as a birthday present. It was composed under the influence of Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor. No. 2 was composed at the same time as No. 1, in 1847. The content is cheerful and
