The Aris Quartet (ArisQuartett) is a string quartet formed in 2009 under the guidance of Hubert Buchberger (first violinist of the Buchberger Quartet), a professor of chamber music at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. In 2016, they won second place and the Audience Prize in the string quartet category at the ARD International Music Competition (known in Japan as the Munich International Music Competition).
