This is a project album born from “Coffee House Mona Records,” a regular series of events organized by Koyo Konishi at mona records, a live house in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, over the past three years. The album features a collection of guest artists, led by Konishi, covering Haruomi Hosono’s songs as he plays them.The impetus for this work came from the appearance of Haruomi Hosono as a secret guest at the mona records 21st anniversary event (held on March 28, 2025). This historic moment was the starting point for this project to preserve the spirit of the event in a tangible form. (C)RS
