Included are many classic and well-known arias from operas by Puccini, Verdi, and others! In 1961, she made her debut at La Scala, and later appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, and other major opera houses around the world, specializing especially in Verdi and Puccini, In 1981 and 1982, she performed with Herbert von Karajan at the Salzburg Festival. He continued to perform mainly in Italy and was also active as a pedagogue. The Italian soprano Carmela Remigio won the first prize at the Luciano Pavarotti International Competition in 1992 and immediately attracted international attention. She has performed with many greats such as Claudio Abbado, Lorin Maazel, and Riccardo Muti, and has appeared in the Berlin Philharmoni
