Description:

A collection of works by Belgrade-born composer Milica Djordjevic. She has been interested in electronic music since she was studying composition in her hometown, and after studying in Strasbourg and at IRCAM in Paris, she studied with Hanspeter Kibrutz at the Hans Eisler University of Music in Berlin from 2011 to 2013. He began his career as a composer. He has written a wide variety of orchestral, chamber, and vocal works, which have received a number of prestigious awards, including the Belmont Prize (2015), the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation’s Young Composers Encouragement Award (2016), the Claudio Abbado Composition Award (2020), 1 was commissioned by the Berlin Philharmonic, 2 and 4 by Musica Viva of the Bavarian Radio, and 3 by the Donaueschingen Music Festival.
