Michio Matsunaga was born in Osaka in 1927. He studied under Yoshiro Irino and others. His work is characterized by a delicate style born from his own sensibilities, created through a variety of media and methods. This album features recent works written exclusively for traditional Japanese instruments, offering a comprehensive overview of Matsunagas current compositional style.
