French melodist of the 20th century. The latest release in the Poulenc series is the second volume of chamber music works! Paladino” label in Austria has been promoting Francis Poulenc, a 20th century French melodist and one of the French Six, with German concert pianist Eva-Maria May as the main artist. The fifth work in the series is “Volume 2” of “Chamber Music Works”! The members include Andreas Chabras, principal clarinetist of the Bavarian State Opera Orchestra, Martin Rummel, a favorite pupil of the English cello legend William Preiss, and a female flutist active in the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, The program features an outstanding ensemble of first-rate performers.
