Riccardo Minaj’s vivid performance of “The Four Seasons” by the Orchestra La Scintilla is vivid and powerful! Riccardo Minaj is a violinist and conductor. In recent years he has rapidly gained a reputation as one of the most exciting talents in Europe. As a violinist, Riccardo Minaj has played first violin in many prestigious period instrument ensembles, including Savall’s Concerto de Nacin, Concerto Italiano, and Accademia Visantina. She also served as assistant to the conductor of the Orchestre La Scintilla and first violin in the recording of Bartoli’s “Norma”. This recording is with the La Scintilla Orchestra, based at the Zurich Opera House. Both ensembles had a concert series during the 2018/19 season, featuring works from a wide range of periods.
