The previously unreleased Whitney Houston song “Love is” is now being released for the first time on analog vinyl 30 years later, featuring studio versions, live rehearsals, a cappella, and a remix by Carvin Winans. In addition, four bonus tracks from the band’s 1994 live performance at Kings Park Stadium in Durban, South Africa, are also included. With this historic performance, Whitney became the first major Western artist to visit the newly united South Africa after Nelson Mandela’s election as president. This is a Record Store Day exclusive release to honor Whitney Houston’s great legacy.
