  The album was recorded with the Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra and Gilda Butt on the Gilda Butt on piano. Morricone served as arranger, conductor and producer. The album spent 105 weeks on the Billboard Top Classical Albums. “Yo-Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone” positively distinguishes itself from most other interpretive Albums.
