The latest single from Fukuoka-based current soul unit YOHLU is now available on 7inch from the up-and-coming label Special 10 Records! The cover was drawn by Daniel Tingcungco, an illustrator based in Ho Chi Minh City. The sixth release from Fukuoka-based indie label Special 10 Records is the latest single 7inch release from current Fukuoka-based soul unit YOHLU! This release couples the reggae-lovers rock SIDE A “mokuren,” which takes a step into a new realm from their traditional sound based on soul, R&B, and hip-hop, with the straight pop SIDE B “melty,” which shines with its chorus work. Their signature shimmering mellow sound is still alive and well, as evidenced by their tour of China in 2023 and Thailand in 2024, not to mention their domestic and international audiences in Asia and beyond.
