The Vienna Tonknstler Orchestra, which holds regular concerts at the Vienna Musikverein and the St. Plten Festival Theater, is one of Austrias most important orchestras, boasting a tradition spanning over 100 years. The Grafenegg Music Festival features the Tonknstler Orchestra as its resident orchestra. A DVD featuring live footage from the festival, held in June 2015, has already been released. Grafenegg is located about a 40-minute drive from downtown Vienna. The gardens of the beautiful Grafenegg Castle (also spelled Grafenegg) feature an open-air theater and an auditorium.
