A new Ring cycle has been created through a co-production between the Palau de las Artes in Valencia, Spain, and the Teatro Municipale di Firenze in Italy. First, we present *Das Rheingold* on DVD and Blu-ray. This production features the Barcelona-based performance group La Fla dels Baus, with core member Carles Padria serving as director. One of its defining features is the stunning CGI imagery projected onto a giant screen. While the use of video in opera productions is not uncommon, this production projects highly detailed CGI imagery onto a screen that spans the entire stage.
